This week we see the beginning of summer veggies for central Texas. Summer squash and snap beans rear their heads from the soil, soaking up as much sun and water as possible. They know that summer will come quick for us in Austin.
At the same time, we see the end of our bok choy harvest. The beautiful flowers bring lots of bees to the plot, pollinating our rows. They remind us how dependent everything is on each other to survive.
